While not an inclusive list, here are some of the things that we do to help the coaches so they are able to focus on coaching our youth:
- fundraise for team trips to national level competitions
- provide treats and prizes for Big Week
- coordinate snacks on meet days to keep our athletes adequately fueled
- host team dinners to foster team bonding
- coordinate senior banners
- help execute special events like Extravaganza and Senior Night
- plan the end of season XC Banquet
- photograph events
- raise extra money by working in the school concession stands
- produce the Banquet Book

The BVXC Finish Line Club is a volunteer-led 501(c)3 nonprofit organization (booster club) that supports all things Cross Country at Blue Valley High School.
In collaboration with parents, athletes, donors, coaches and BVHS administration, the BVXC Finish Line Club works to supplement funds necessary to meet the BVXC’s needs above the funding the school can provide for the program and works to support the team in many other ways.
If you are the parent or guardian of a cross country runner or just want to support us, we want you to be part of our booster club.
As such, we need your help! There are many things to be done throughout the season, big and little – many hands make lighter work for all and even if you can only give an hour or two over the season, we can put that time to great use –
